2023 Welcome Letter
Fellow Democrats:
Happy holidays and thank you for the honor of representing you on the Washington State Democratic Central Committee (WSDCC) these past ten years.
After several weeks of reflection and PCO consultation, I've decided to seek another term as your representative on the WSDCC. I believe my experience and relationships will be very helpful to our 45th LD Democratic organization in the 2023-2024 cycle, especially given that we will be electing a new Chair and at least one new state committeemember, and I am very enthused about continuing the work that I began back in 2013 when you first elected me to this position.
I've built this website to serve as a hub for my candidacy.
This Accomplishments page discusses my successes in improving the governance and effectiveness of our state party, including the formation of our Advocacy Committee.
This Priorities page presents my ideas for what we can and should focus on at the state and local levels of the party. It explains what I'll be focusing on if reelected.
If you're unfamiliar with the work of the Washington State Democratic Central Committee, this page explains what the role is and why it's important.
Lastly, this page offers my reflections on the past and hopes for the future. If reelected, I believe I have a good chance of taking our district's perspective to the executive board this cycle.
As your state committeemember, I bring to the 45th a strong, well-developed knowledge of how the state party functions, excellent relationships with our state party officers who are seeking reelection, a track record of ensuring our district is represented at every state party meeting weekend, and a commitment to two-way communication... both elevating the concerns of our members to the state party as well as reporting back the state party's decisions in a timely fashion.
